Free Game Friday: Dromad

There’s something greatly appealing about browser games. Not having to download anything is always a plus, and the ease of access of a browser game makes it that much easier to procrastinate. And as you may have noticed, I’m a big fan of procrastinating.

This Friday’s offering reminds both of us of a top down version of Super Crate Box, and it’s just as addicting. In fact, Dromad even features a weapon not entirely unlike Super Crate Box’s discgun, meaning your life is about to get a lot more difficult. But you like it that way, don’t you? I knew you did.

The object of the game is to kill as many enemies as possible in a rather confined area, with a variety of weapons at your disposal, and more as you up your kill count. New enemies are unlocked as time progresses, making things more hectic, as one might expect.

This game really feels in every way like a spiritual successor to Super Crate Box, but the tactics required are something all their own. Go give Dromad a try and let us know how you fare!
