Gish Updated & Giveaway!

Gish has been around since 2005 so if you haven’t played it by now, you’ve probably had your head stuck under a rock somewhere. It’s a physics puzzle platformer in which players take control of Gish, a 10 lb. ball of tar hell bent on rescuing his girlfriend Brea from the forces of evil. If that premise doesn’t entice you, Gish is a brain child of Edmund McMillen and his art and humor seep through wonderfully. (You did unlock Gish in Super Meat Boy, didn’t you?)

If you have rolled through the game sticking and slicking your way through the levels, some of the new features included in Gish are:

  • Pay What You Want pricing (get Gish for as little as $1)
  • No more DRM or registration
  • Brand new community campaigns for an additional 40 levels to explore
  • 64-bit Linux support included

If that isn’t enough, Chronic Logic is offering you the ability to get ANY Chronic Logic game for free, just by responding to their Facebook page with which game of theirs is your favorite. Those who respond will receive a free copy of the game listed as their favorite. To be fair, one game per person and the promotion will last until November 5th, 2010, so hop to it and get that free game while you can!

Hint: Pick Gish! It’s the best!
